A Letters Within sign consists of photographs of lettering within architecture, landscapes and nature. Travis and I spell out the desired word, lay it across a mat board in any color of choice and frame it in either a black or brown frame between 18 and 36 inches. Custom frames are available at an additional cost.
We are willing to travel to a desired location (a college campus, a church, a family farm) to photograph what is around the area to make your sign even more personal and special. If we can not find all of the letters at the one location, you may choose another to complete your sign.
Letters Within is about adding a timelessly unique touch to your space.

| 36" black frame with 4x6 black & white photos on scarlet mat Our very first sign for my Dad as a Christmas gift. All the letters are taken at The Ohio State University, mostly the 'Horseshoe'. We have made several of these signs. The black & white photos, with a scarlet mat board and a black frame makes this Letters Within original really pop!  27" black frame with black & white wallets on scarlet mat  You can't have a 'BUCKEYES' sign, without having an 'OHIO STATE' sign! These letters are from OSU and around town also. This is another popular sign! O-H...  "MJ PHOTOGRAPHY" is the name of my Mom's photography business. It looks great in her office with the fun teal colored walls. :O)  'RANKIN' is the last name of one of my closest friends. Travis and I created a black & white sign for her and her new hubby as a wedding gift. They like theirs so much, they ordered one for her Father-in-law. This particular sign is with a brown frame, cream mat and sepia photos. I love this combo! :o)  Our "BLESSINGS" sign was made for a friend's recovery bash auction. He is a cancer, sepsis and amputee survivor!! I pray many more blessings will be showered on him and his family!  "HAPPILY EVERY AFTER" & "I DO" are two signs Travis and I created for a bridal show.   "GALIARDI" a neat last name to a special couple who are Buckeye fans. This sign was an engagement gift for the daughter & future son-in-law to one of my dearest friends.  I don't know where to begin with this awesome sign! "KIRKPATRICK" is the last name of a great couple who love music and one another very much. The lovely wife came to us with an incredible idea of customizing the sign for her hubby as their anniversary gift. The talented husband has a special connection to a local sound shop in which the owner gave Travis and I free roam to snap away in. All the letters were found in this cool shop where you feel instantly welcome as beautiful instruments surround you and you know great music is made there. It was an honor and pleasure to work with outstanding people also. Thanks again Crystal, Mitchell & Nick!! This is a personal one-of-a-kind gift that will forever be a favorite of ours.  This Christmas gift for a special person, good friends of ours asked us to create a "MATTOX" sign. It was such a pleasure to create. We hope Mrs. Mattox enjoys her gift! My cousin Kathy and her family, whom we're very close to, asked Travis and I to make four signs (below) for them as Christmas gifts to give to relatives. It was so much fun to create individualized signs for people who we know and/or are related to.  "GRAHAM" is the last name of a great guy (& his beautiful wife) who is technically not a relative, but is a relative. :o) I have known Brett for as long as I can remember. It is pretty special when you know the person you are creating the sign for and can see a little bit of them in what you create. Choosing/finding the letters and the colors for our signs is a great experience anyway, but there is an added bonus when you know who it is for.  "STEVEN AND DENISE" are fun-loving cousins of mine as well. We chose to use a different approach to their sign. Instead of using a last name, Kathy & I opted for their first names. I think this sign says laid back & non-traditional. I should mention that my Dad is the baby of six children. So, I have a lot of cousins and I love it! It is an adventure when we all get together. :o)  The "THOMPSON" sign was for my other cousin Debbie, Kathy & Steven's sister, and her family. I love the gorgeous frame and the simplicity of the mat with the photos. I hear that the walls in the Thompson home do not stay one color very long, so we went with a more neutral look that will go with a variety of colors whenever the creative urge strikes. :o)  Although I am not related to this "VALENTINE" family, I do know them well. They are a fun bunch with style and class. When I saw this mat board I fell in love with it and knew it would be perfect for the Valentines. Luckily, Kathy & John agreed. I hear it is a hit!  The "GRANDMA" sign was a birthday gift from three sweet grandchildren to their special grandma.  "CAPITAL LAW SCHOOL" was a graduation gift to a great friend & recent graduate of Capital Law School. His thoughtful & creative wife came to Travis and I with her idea of going to the university and letter hunting. Most of the photos were taken at Capital University-Main Campus. A few were from the Law School. We had so much fun creating this unique gift for such a wonderful person and celebrating his amazing accomplishment!  "DONALDSON" was a true one-of-a-kind sign and a farm inspired gift. All but one letter came from a beautiful farm owned by great people. The other letter came from the fairgrounds and still had the farm theme. Thanks again Leitnakers for allowing us to roam around your property!  All the photos for "DONAHUE" were taken at the Horseshoe. A retirement gift for a fantastic teacher, friend & OSU fan!  "LIAM" is the name of an adorable little boy who now has this sign hanging in his nursery. Travis and I were thrilled to create this sign for a great family to put in a special place!  This "GALLANT" sign was created for a super sweet couple as a wedding gift from a few special people in their family. Travis and I are thrilled for the newly married couple and wish them all the best. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Gallant!  "BROWN" was a fun sign to create for a well liked co-worker. The combination of colors had a more modern twist, as in the "LIAM" sign.  The "MARSAN" sign represents a lovely couple and their wedding day. Travis and I created this sign for my cousin and her new husband. We chose the blue and the black theme to compliment their wedding colors. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Marsan!  "HANNAH" is the last name of a special couple who just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. How wonderful! This sign was an honor to make. I can't even imagine all the Hannah's have journeyed through together in 50 years, but I can't wait to experience a half century with my wonderful husband!  "HALAIKO" was such a heartwarming sign to create. A group of thoughtful teachers gave this to their principal for Boss's Day. Teachers and principals hold a special place in Travis & I's heart, so we were tickled to be a part of this gift. Thank you Mrs. Halaiko and all the teaching staff at Junction City Elementary for all that you do for our future!! You are appreciated!  "TOENNIES" is the last name of a special couple who are dear friends to special people of mine. Travis and I made this sign as a gift from my in-laws for their good friends they get to see once a year. The sign has a farm theme to really suit it's new owners. It was an honor creating it!  1 of 2: "HARLEY" - Having two signs of the same name was such a neat challenge. Travis and I wanted each sign to have it's own characteristics even though they were the same in color schemes. The photos were different for each family and I feel that makes each sign unique.

"CARNEY" - The same wonderful client who ordered the two Harley signs, also ordered the Ohio State themed Carney sign for Christmas gifts. Letters Within was thrilled to be a part of such a special time. All the photos were taken at 'The Shoe' to make this sign truly an OSU theme.

"TOBIN'- This sign was created for a special couple representing history and friendship, as well as their last name. It was a pleasure putting this sign together and we hope the Tobins enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it for them.
 "McCOY" - Travis and I had a lot of fun creating this sign for such a neat family. It brought a new challenge that we were excited to take on. We wanted our Letters Within sign to look how McCoy is written, hence the smaller first 'C'. Travis and I were kind of excited with how it turned out. :o) We hope the McCoy's were too!

"JACKSON" - With our bestselling combination we have our Jackson sign. This sign had a personal touch, as our client had a few themed letter requests. :o) Jackson family, Travis and I love your last name (we thought about naming our son Jackson :o]) and we hope you love your sign!

"SHONK" - Travis and I's little girl started preschool this year and she has a pretty awesome teacher! Being teachers ourselves, we know all the time, love and effort that is involved in and out of the classroom. We wanted to make sure Mrs. Shonk knows how much we appreciate her and all that she is doing to help our daughter's first school experience go well. Thank you Mrs. Shonk for a wonderful start in preschool! We are excited for the rest of the preschool experience! :o) "PARRISH" - A very sweet wife wanted to give her husband a special Valentine's Day gift and we are so honored she chose Letters Within to be a part of it. Travis and I were excited to create this sign and to share with the Parrish's and you our first traditionally matted signs. With the photos being matted, it gives the sign a whole new classic look. About us
I wanted to share a little bit about my hubby and I. Travis teaches high school Social Studies and coaches in the spring. I am a stay-at-home mommy to our two beautiful and amazing children. Our daughter is 2 and a half and our son is 8 months old. They are sweet as sugar...most of the time. :o) We are very busy these days, but we wouldn't change a thing!! Travis and I are so thankful for what we have been blessed with in our life!
